Talking to Strangers.

Talking To Strangers

Said, good evening, Mister,
are you fine?

Eying up,
Said, may I sit down
by your side?

Coz I’m alone, alone; tonight
Feeling lonely
And for a drink or two or three or …
– I’d like some company.

Stranger, do you mind,
that I call you by your first name
which I forgot again
as we’re flying high
seeing all lights in the dark sky

Stranger, do you see
That light shining
Out of this young man’s eyes?
You don’t care, but tonight he’s the one -
With the shining eyes; everybody,
Everybody talks about; tonight

Stranger, what are you doing here?
Just talking to strangers.
Stranger, say
What do they talk about?
Are they all the same,
Since you call them strangers
All of them; the same?

Is she any pretty?
This girl, you’re talking to.
I’d say no, because it’s me,
And you’d say yes, because it’s her.
We still stay strangers
Tonight
And tomorrow
Strangers.

Like two ships,
Passing on the daytime,
Not at night.

We saw each other
Shared a drink
Other people call
Light/Friendship; Quietness.

And passed again
Like ships do
At night.

Stranger.
