The Silly Thing About The Future

Too bad, you don't know what's ahead.
Too bad, you don't believe in fate.
Turn right, turn left, or keep straight on
Just as long as you don't go back.

I walk along a cloudy street.
I've known so long, so well
That where I'm going, I don't know.
I don't read signs, I follow them.

The streets, they are not home to me.
I watch the rain, I walk alone
Until the end of all of them.
The last street will bring me home.

Too bad, you don't know what's ahead.
Too bad, you don't believe in fate,
Coz then you'd know, no matter where you go
You'll be at home, no need to go back.

I walk along a cloudy street.
I've known so long, so well,
That where I'm going, I don't know.
I don't read signs. I follow them.

Too bad, you don't know what's ahead.
Too bad you don't believe in fate.
Turn right, turn left or keep straight on.
Just as long as you don't go back.

And then it doesn't matter
if I turn left or right
Since fate had planned long time ago,
That I'd be home tonight.

Too bad, you don't know what's ahead.
Too bad you don't believe in fate.
Turn right, turn left or keep straight on.
Just as long as you don't go back.
